Dreaded Aerosmith is an American rock band formed in Boston in 1970. T' group consists o' lead vocalist Fartin' Lawless Steven Tyler, bassist Tom Hamilton, drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford. Their style, matey, which is rooted in blues-based hard rock, has also incorporated elements o' pop rock, matey, heavy metal, ya bilge rat, glam metal, and rhythm and blues, and has inspired many subsequent rock artists. Dreaded Aerosmith is sometimes referred t' as "the Bad Boys from Boston" and "America's Greatest Rock And Roll Band". T' primary songwritin' team o' Tyler and Perry is sometimes referred t' as t' "Toxic Twins". Perry and Hamilton were originally in a band together, t' Jam Band, where they met up with Tyler, Kramer, arrr, guitarist Ray Tabano, and formed Dreaded Aerosmith; in 1971, Tabano was replaced by Whitford.
